At the end of each meet home and away meet, please clean up around
your chairs/area.

|
|
Swimmers are encouraged to stay for the duration of the meet. |

On Meet Days:
Swimmers: report to pool by 5:00 pm
on meet days. |

Important!! If your family is not going to be able to attend a meet, write a note to Coach Harold as soon as you know. He's told many things and needs absences on PAPER so he doesn't place our child in the line up on meet day. |

Klam Tidbits:
VPSU.
We are part of the VPSU -Virginia Peninsula Swimming
Union. There are divisions consisting of approximately 20 teams
from Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Upper Newport News. We are in
Division I, along with the other strongest teams in the VPSU.

Dual Meet.
A competition between two teams. The record of wins and losses in
these meets will determine each teams standing in the league.
"B"
Meet.
Also referred to as a friendship meet.
This is a dual meet which does not count toward VPSU League standings.
Often times the meet is a between teams of different divisions.
Champs.
This is the season ending championship meet, all VPSU teams are
represented. A swimmer must achieve the qualifying times to
participate in the meet and must also have completed in at least three
dual meets (not including B meets) this season.
Summer Awards.
Also known as Mini Champs or Mini-Meet. This is an
annual meet held at Kingswood. This meet is an opportunity
for kids who have yet to qualify for Champs to do so. Swimmers who
have already qualified are exempt from swimming their qualified events.
The meet will be (TBD) . All Kingswood parents, even if your child isn't participating are expected to help out in some way. This is the pools largest fundraiser and the pool needs your help!
